Despite this detached and chilling account of a senseless and savage murder of a family, Capote manages to generate suspense and empathy.

I read this book years ago and found it very moving. Its a book that stays with you forever. Capote's writing style is magnificent puts you right there with the victims and the muderers.
I found this book very interesting and quite sad. It made me feel that capital punishment is wrong.
