The Kira Chronicles by K.S. Nikakis

The Kira Chronicles is a great epic fantasy trilogy. Full of strong characters that are trying to find their way these books have classic healing vs the sword themes. The history and magic woven throughout this story are intriguing, and there is a prophecy type folklore woven throughout the novels. Each different race has their own versions of the past, but one clan remains hidden and the others do not know they exist.

The Tremen community in the forest setting of Allorgrenia are a long forgotten race, but a neighbouring clan have begun invading their land in the hopes to fulfill a prophecy of their own. Kira, the head of the peaceful healing community must leave all she knows and loves to find aid for her people. She must go against everything she believes in and journey to the far side of the land to seek help from the race they have long shunned.

These were very easy to read and fast paced, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Anyone who loves epic fantasy with magic and healing and adventure read these!
