"Short and somewhat dull. Began interestingly enough but tended to drag on and on and on. I will give his next book a go, maybe it will be better than th last one."

Cripple Creek - James Sallis

The 2nd instalment in so far, a three part series. I haven't read the first : Cypress Grove . Interesting story because it was so short. It keeps your attention as the story moves along a a fast pace, As it moves around the south ( Tennessee) you are never quite sure what is going to happen next. But it is always unexpected.See More

Eighteen Seconds - George D Shuman

Fast paced thriller about a search for a serial killer in a small coastal town on the eastern coast of the US. The killer is tracked down by a blind woman who can read the last 18 seconds of peoples lives. It was a novel way of using a psychic in a thriller. I didn't realise this was the first of a series till I saw Jacqui's review of Lost Girls. I'll be reading more!See More
