i do love them them too though i am not keen on the description of some of the stuff that happens to the victims in the story. I can't quite decide if I like the boyfriend or not either. I think Sam is a better character though could be used better.

just read a sample chapter online, awesome. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy. The bathurst library is not excellent but they might buy it. I had been trying the true blood series but some of the abuse is a bit descriptive for me. loved the serie…

Yes I have Patricia Briggs on my 'to read' list as well. Also I just finished the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins a dark thriller/fantasy for teens which came highly recommended. I was totally enthralled and read it in 2 days which is amazing for me. It subject is quite confronting set in a future post disaster world. Great world building and memorable characters despite the depressing nature of the storyline. It's part of a triology and the second book is out so I'll have to get that on my list as well! Off to see the Twilight-New Moon movie tonight with my daughter.

Hi Eve good to hear from you again. I don't want to give you any spoilers so I won't go into how the stories and the characters develop in case you haven't read them all. The makers of the True Blood TV series based on the Southern Vampire Series agree with you about Sam and he features more in the TV series than the books.I really like Sam as well.

I was recommended this book by a member of the bookclub I attend. Stephen Leather is a popular British thriller writer and he has written another fast paced thriller which is more horror than pure suspense/thriller. This book features former cop…
